When a dieter follows this program on a long-term basis, it may lead to harmful effects on kidney functions, cholesterol levels and could increase the risks of osteoporosis, cancer and heart disease.

The long-term effect and safety of the Somersizing Diet is not sure due to lack of medical studies.
