Uses: Terazosin is a reliable drug for reducing high blood pressure. It is known to treat hypertension (high blood pressure),the "silent killer". It may be used alone or in combination with other blood pressure lowering drugs, such as HydroDIURIL (a diuretic) or Inderal, a beta blocker. Its chemical component causes the blood vessels (veins and arteries) to relax and expand and allows blood to pass more easily through them.

When the heart beats, it pumps blood to the arteries and creates pressure in them. High blood pressure is a lifelong disease. It can usually be controlled but not cured. Once you begin to manage it and start a treatment program, maintaining a lower blood pressure is easier. TENUATE USES:
Tenuate is used in combination with a diet plan to help you reduce weight.

HOW TO USE TENUATE:
Tenuate is best taken on an empty stomach one hour before meals. Sustained-release or long acting products like Tenuate must be swallowed whole. Crushing or chewing Tenuate will destroy the long action and may cause increased side effects. Because Tenuate may cause sleeplessness, avoid taking a Tenuate dose late in the day. Take Tenuate as prescribed. Do not take Tenuate more often or longer than directed. Tenuate is usually taken for 8 to 12 weeks. Use Tenuate in combination with other appetite suppressant medicine is generally not recommended. Consult your doctor before such use if you are planning to take Tenuate.
