Uses: Benazepril is a medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), congestive heart failure, and chronic renal failure.
 
How to use: Benazepril is supplied as tablets containing 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg for oral administration. You will feel dizzy, drowsy, and even will experience coughing. 

Drug Interaction: People using this drug should avoid salt substitutes

Overdose: Symptoms of a benazepril overdose include extreme dizziness, weakness, fainting, and fatigue.

Notes: Talk to your doctor before using salt substitutes containing potassium. If your doctor prescribes a low-salt or low-sodium diet, follow these directions carefully.
 
Missed dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
 
Important Note:
When used in pregnancy during the second and third trimesters, they can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus.

Storage: Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
